have two of these. I use them to hold all the random little things that pile up on my art desk, pens, pencils, scissors, ChapStick, and whatever else ends up in there. It spins really smoothly, which makes everything easy to reach.

I’m not particularly careful when I toss stuff into it, and it hasn’t tipped over. It comes with a little non-slip pad that I keep underneath it. It wasn’t expensive, and I really enjoy having it on my desk.
