500 Slot Pencil Case

I have several of these cases, and they’re what I use for most of my colored pencils. I prefer the larger versions because I’d rather have room to grow than end up with several smaller cases.

🩵 I seal the fabric first with GAC 100, clear gesso, or something similar. Then I paint a strip of white gesso for the pencil numbers. If I ever move my pencils, I use White-Out or another coat of gesso and update the numbers.

I also like the individual pencil slots. There are versions with larger elastic loops that can hold multiple pencils or markers, but I prefer having each pencil in its own spot. When every pencil has its own slot, it’s easier to find what I’m looking for, and everything stays organized instead of shifting around. These slots are designed for standard-sized pencils, and I think slim markers like Tombows would fit, but I haven’t tried them myself.

💜 I bought mine from Amazon. I haven’t purchased these from other websites, so I can’t recommend them.
